Polish aviation authorities temporarily halted operations at Rzeszów and Lublin airports due to military flights during Russian attacks on Ukraine.

The Polish Air Navigation Services Agency announced that air traffic operations at the Rzeszów and Lublin airports were suspended temporarily. The decision was driven by military flight activity occurring during Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory.
Both cities are situated in close proximity to the Ukrainian border. Rzeszów serves as a critical hub for NATO, facilitating the delivery of weapons and supplies to Ukraine.
This latest suspension marks one of several instances where Warsaw has implemented temporary closures at these two airports over the past two weeks. These measures have been triggered by Russian military operations near the Polish-Ukrainian frontier.
The most recent shutdown occurred last Saturday in the country's southeast region. Authorities enacted this precautionary step following a large-scale Russian assault on Ukrainian land.
