Pope Lauds US-Iran Temporary Agreement to End Middle East War

Pope Laon XIV commended the temporary agreement between the United States and Iran aimed at ending the war in the Middle East. He stated, “I thank the Lord for the willingness of the two powers to formalize their agreement on Friday.”

The Pope also expressed his hope that this accord would bring a permanent end to the conflict.

He added, “There will remain several points that need resolution, but it is always better to address these through dialogue and negotiations rather than returning to war.”

He wished that this agreement would serve as a genuine solution to the war, that the war would indeed be over, and that progress could be made thereafter.
