Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov declared that the deployment of NATO member states' military infrastructure within Afghanistan and its neighboring nations constitutes an unacceptable development. This statement was delivered during his address at the eighth session of the consultations on Afghanistan held under the Moscow Format.
In addition to rejecting foreign military presence, Lavrov affirmed that Russia will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the country. The minister emphasized this commitment alongside his stance against the expansion of Western military capabilities in the region.
