Russia’s Defence Ministry said it shot down 348 Ukrainian drones overnight across south-western regions, including areas around Moscow and Crimea.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said 348 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight across south-western regions of the country.
The ministry said the drones targeted Krasnodar region, the republics of Crimea and Tatarstan, and the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Rostov, Ryazan, Tula and Moscow, as well as the areas around Moscow and the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.
For almost daily attacks, Kyiv’s forces continue to target south-western parts of Russia with drones and missiles. President Vladimir Putin has said the scope of the military operation must be expanded to push Kyiv’s forces away from Russian territory, including the new territories, by the range of the missiles and Western weapons used against Russia.
