Russian and Chinese Military Aircraft Enter South Korea's Air Defense Zone
South Korea's military reported Russian and Chinese military planes flew through its air defense identification zone without breaching national airspace.

The South Korean military stated that Russian and Chinese military aircraft flew through South Korea's air defense identification zone on Saturday but did not violate the country's airspace, according to Reuters.
South Korea monitored approximately 10 military aircraft as they approached its airspace and deployed fighter jets that conducted tactical maneuvers in preparation for any incidents.
The military's brief statement did not specify whether any incidents occurred during the event.
Since 2003, Russia and China have been conducting joint military exercises on land, sea, and in the air, with a notable increase in the frequency of these drills since 2022.
