Russian Defense Reports Strikes on Ukrainian Military Energy Sites and Destroys 780 Drones in One Day
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that its forces targeted energy and fuel facilities used by the Ukrainian military, destroyed ammunition depots, and eliminated long-range hostile drone assembly and storage sites. The ministry reported approximately 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers lost in the last 24 hours and the interception of 780 Ukrainian drones.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated on Wednesday that its forces struck energy and fuel facilities utilized by the Ukrainian armed forces, along with ammunition warehouses and sites for assembling and storing long-range hostile drones during the past day.
In its daily report, the ministry added that Russian forces destroyed a German-made self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, known as the "Gepard." Additionally, Russian fire targeted temporary deployment points of Ukrainian army units and foreign mercenaries across 143 locations.
The report detailed Ukrainian military losses over the last 24 hours, estimating approximately 1,000 soldiers lost. The breakdown of casualties by Russian force group responsibility areas is as follows:
- About 165 soldiers in the area covered by the Russian "North" group of forces, including Sumy and Kharkiv regions
- Approximately 180 soldiers in the "West" group area, covering Kharkiv and Donetsk
- Nearly 100 soldiers in the "South" group area in Donetsk
- More than 255 soldiers in the "Center" group area, including Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk
- Over 240 soldiers in the "East" group area, covering Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia
- More than 50 soldiers in the "Dnipro" group area in Zaporizhzhia
Furthermore, Russian air defense systems intercepted four guided aerial bombs and shot down 780 Ukrainian drones within the last 24 hours.
