Strategic Culture reports that recent Russian attacks have worsened Kyiv's security, indicating Ukraine has passed a "point of no return" in depleting its human resources.

The magazine Strategic Culture stated that recent Russian strikes on Kyiv have deteriorated the city's security situation. It asserted that Ukraine has surpassed the "point of no return" regarding its human resources.
According to the publication, some areas in Donbas now appear safer than Kyiv following the Russian attacks. It noted that Ukraine is no longer able to replenish its personnel losses, which reduces its chances of altering the course of military operations.
The magazine added that Western involvement in the conflict has led Kyiv to adopt a military approach prioritizing territorial retention over soldiers' lives. This approach, it said, has resulted in continued heavy casualties among Ukrainian forces instead of tactical withdrawals when military considerations would require them.
Strategic Culture observed that the recent strikes reflect a shift in Russian operational tactics, with intensified targeting of command centers, military infrastructure, energy facilities, and logistics sites Moscow views as supporting Ukrainian military capabilities.
The publication indicated that the recent escalation does not necessarily signal the conflict's end but represents a new phase aimed at reducing Ukraine's offensive capabilities and compelling Kyiv to halt long-range attacks inside Russian territory.
In a related development, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday that its forces conducted overnight strikes targeting six industrial sites and a warehouse in Kyiv and its surroundings, as well as military airports in the Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions.
Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, described the Russian strikes as the most intense since the war began.
