Saudi King Salman issued royal orders on Saturday involving appointments and dismissals of senior officials, including changes in the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

On Saturday, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued a series of royal orders that introduced changes to several government positions within Saudi Arabia.
The royal orders encompassed appointments and dismissals across various sectors such as industry and mineral resources, military industries, the public prosecution, justice, the Saudi central bank, and the Secretariat of Jeddah Province.
Among the decisions was the dismissal of Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Khorayef from his role as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was appointed as the new Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources while retaining his position as Minister of Energy.
Another royal order appointed Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef as Minister of State and a member of the Council of Ministers. He was also assigned to act as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries in addition to his new responsibilities, following the dismissal of Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Owhali from the position of Governor of the Authority.
The orders further included the dismissal of Shalaan bin Rajeh bin Abdullah bin Shalaan from his post as Deputy Public Prosecutor. He was appointed as an advisor at the Royal Court with the rank of Excellent.
Additionally, Ihsan bin Abbas bin Hamza Bafaqih was appointed as Secretary of Jeddah Province with the rank of Excellent.
The royal orders also named Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Mutlaq as Deputy Minister of Justice with the rank of Excellent. Talal bin Fouad bin Ahmed Al-Hamoud was appointed Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Technical Affairs with the rank of Excellent, and Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Duhaim was appointed Deputy Governor of the Saudi Central Bank for Executive Affairs with the rank of Excellent.
The royal orders emphasized that the competent authorities are responsible for their approval and implementation.
