Southern Giants: We Foiled a Houthi Attack North of Dhubab Airport
The Southern Giants forces announced they repelled a Houthi attack north of Dhubab airport, inflicting heavy casualties while coalition airstrikes targeted reinforcements.

The Southern Giants forces announced that they broke a Houthi militia attack on their positions north of Dhubab airport, confirming that they inflicted heavy losses in equipment and lives on the militia, coinciding with Arab Coalition air strikes on Houthi reinforcements.
This comes after a Yemeni military source confirmed on Friday that the Giants Brigades, with air support, took control of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and Perim Island, locally known as Mayoun.
Control was established, according to the German News Agency, within a military operation, while clashes and clearing operations continue in the surrounding area.
The military source said that the Giants forces and the National Shield managed to take control of the Al-Ardhi camp and observation points belonging to the Coast Guard forces, along with the mountain range surrounding the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Yemeni government forces had confirmed neutralizing more than 1,400 Houthi elements during the past 24 hours, stating that they carried out 2,700 operations.
Colonel Majid Al-Nuzaili, the official spokesperson for the Armed Forces, mentioned that during the past 24 hours and within the framework of Operation "Dawn of Yemen," the forces executed more than (2,750) precise targeting operations against fortifications and defensive sites, advanced observation and reconnaissance posts, field artillery batteries, weapons and ammunition depots, supply and logistics warehouses, and military reinforcements belonging to the Houthi militia, across various combat axes and fronts, in addition to legitimate high-value military targets deep within areas under militia control.
