The Syrian Interior Ministry announced the detention of 235 members of the ISIS organization in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate over the last three months. Additionally, seven cells were dismantled in the provinces of Hama, Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Homs, and Damascus.

Earlier, in March, the Internal Security Forces had declared the execution of a focused security campaign coordinated with the General Intelligence. This campaign targeted ISIS cells in Al-Bukamal and its countryside, extending to areas in the Al-Busayrah countryside, particularly in Al-Zar and Al-Takihi. The operation followed precise intelligence monitoring of the movements of suspected individuals.
The Syrian Interior Ministry affirmed its ongoing efforts to pursue any activities that threaten the security of citizens and regional stability, working alongside intelligence agencies. The ministry emphasized adherence to enforcing the law and maintaining civil peace.
Meanwhile, a new group of ISIS families has departed from the "Roj" camp in Syria.
