Syria: Drones accompany Israeli military force advancing into southern Quneitra countryside

Local sources in Quneitra, southwestern Syria, informed RT of an Israeli military force advancing into the village of Saada al-Jaulan in the southern countryside of the governorate under cover of reconnaissance aircraft flying over the area.

The Israeli army continues its daily incursions into southern Syrian regions, particularly near the UN Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) line, with ground operations spanning three Syrian governorates: Quneitra, Daraa, and Rural Damascus.

According to sources, the advance of the Israeli military force, consisting of eight vehicles, coincided with the deployment of infantry elements from the Israeli army around the village, without reports of any arrests of local residents.

Our sources previously reported that an Israeli military force had withdrawn late Sunday evening from the Tel Ahmar area in northern Quneitra after a nearly full-day incursion, with no information about arrests of Syrian civilians in the region.

On September 9, an Israeli force entered the village of Al-Mualla in Quneitra countryside, setting up a checkpoint with five military vehicles near the village school before quickly withdrawing toward the Al-Hiran area, then heading toward the western Tel Ahmar base before returning to occupied territories.

The Israeli army continues its military incursions into southern Syria’s triangle of Daraa, Quneitra, and Rural Damascus, supported by combat and drone aircraft, conducting random shootings, intimidating civilians, carrying out near-daily arrests, erecting roadblocks, checking travelers’ IDs, raising barriers, spraying toxic pesticides, and blocking farmers from reaching their lands and herders from accessing pastures.
