Tehran is currently considering its final stance on a proposed memorandum of understanding aimed at reaching an agreement with the United States.

A source close to the negotiation team told Fars news agency that Tehran has not yet announced its final decision regarding the proposed memorandum of understanding intended to reach an agreement with the United States.
The source added that Tehran is presently reviewing its final decision on this memorandum.
At the same time, Iranian media reported that a Qatari delegation arrived in Tehran amid anticipation over the signing of an Iranian-American agreement to end the war in the Middle East, a development previously mentioned by Reuters.
According to ISNA, Qatar sent an advisor to its foreign minister, while Tasnim agency stated that the visit aims to discuss the latest developments related to the ongoing diplomatic process.
U.S. President Donald Trump had confirmed that the agreement with Iran to end the war would be signed on Sunday, followed immediately by the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz; however, Tehran has not yet confirmed the signing date.
After a week marked by escalation, including new U.S. strikes on Iran and Iran's retaliatory attacks on regional countries, which raised concerns about renewed conflict, both countries reported significant progress toward reaching a settlement.
Nevertheless, leaked or publicly released information from both sides about this preliminary agreement—which would pave the way for negotiations on disputed technical details—continues to reveal points of disagreement, and the exact signing date remains uncertain.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, whose country is leading mediation efforts between the two nations, predicted on Saturday that the agreement would be completed within the next 24 hours, indicating an "electronic signing" followed by "technical talks next week."
Following this, Trump reiterated on his Truth Social platform that the signing is scheduled for Sunday, writing, "Immediately after the signing, the Strait of Hormuz will be opened for everyone."
