Three Israeli nationals entered Syrian territory near Mount Hermon on Tuesday, prompting a response from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), which located and repatriated them to Israel.

The three individuals were handed over to the Israeli Police for completion of legal procedures following their detention.

In an official statement, the IDF strongly condemned the incident, describing it as a serious interference with operational activity that endangered the safety of its personnel deployed in the area.

The IDF called on law enforcement authorities to take appropriate measures against those involved, aiming to prevent recurrence of such conduct, which it characterized as a criminal offense requiring firm handling.

A separate video reportedly shows, for the first time, Israeli military forces crossing from Syrian Mount Hermon into southern Lebanon.
