Three Killed in Russian Strikes Near Kyiv, Including One Child

Russian missile attacks struck multiple locations near Kyiv on Saturday, killing three people—including a child—and wounding three others, a senior Ukrainian official confirmed.

Strikes Reported in Boryspil and Brovary

Timur Tkatyenko, head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, reported Russian strikes at three sites in the Boryspil area, located just outside Ukraine’s capital. He also stated that three people were killed and three others wounded in attacks targeting Brovary, northeast of Kyiv.

Tkatyenko posted the details on Telegram, noting that falling debris from the strikes damaged residential buildings and vehicles and ignited a fire in a non-residential structure.

Fire and Air Raid Alert in Kyiv

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that fires broke out in two districts of the Ukrainian capital following an air raid alert. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service released photographs showing a building engulfed in flames, specifying that the strike on the village of Bukhivka destroyed a two-story house and two cars and triggered a fire in a warehouse.
