Donald Trump attacked Barack Obama, alleging he gave Iran hundreds of billions of dollars and a "powerful new lifeline."

Hundreds of billions of dollars, plus $1.7 billion in cash airlifted to Tehran, were handed to Iran by the administration of former President Barack Obama, Donald Trump alleged in his first comments since Iran responded to a U.S. proposal to end the war. The current U.S. president accused Iran of playing "games" with the United States and the world for 47 years, asserting that Tehran "will no longer laugh at the United States."
Trump claimed Obama "stood with Iran and abandoned Israel and other allies," providing the country with what he described as a "very powerful new lifeline." The president added that the Iranians "had never seen money of this size before," and that the cash "was taken off the plane in bags and sacks."
In his remarks, Trump also called Obama the "weakest and dumbest U.S. president," labeling him a "disaster as a leader of the United States." He further accused Iran of having "procrastinated" with the U.S. for decades, blaming the country for killing Americans through "improvised explosive devices" and for suppressing protests.
