Trump Affirms Agreement with Netanyahu on Iran Despite Lebanon Disputes
President Trump states alignment with Netanyahu on Iran amid ongoing conflict, despite disagreements over Israeli military actions in Lebanon.

President Donald Trump confirmed that he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu share a common stance as the conflict in Iran reaches its hundredth day, despite some disagreements regarding Israeli military operations in Lebanon.
In a pre-recorded interview aired Sunday on NBC, Trump said, "We understand each other very well."
He added, "We have been great partners. We have inflicted severe damage on a certain country that has been a source of trouble for 47 years. I disagree with him on some matters."
When asked if he opposed Israel's continued bombing of Lebanon, Trump expressed a preference for "more precise attacks on Hezbollah."
Lebanese Casualties and Ongoing Conflict
In a related development, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported in a statement that Israeli attacks have resulted in at least 3,593 deaths and 10,990 injuries across Lebanon since March 2.
Fighting has intensified in southern Lebanon between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire agreement between Israeli and Lebanese sides. Hezbollah was not a party to these negotiations and rejected the truce.
Trump's Previous Remarks on Netanyahu and Lebanon Operations
Last week, Trump stated he was "upset" with Netanyahu over Israel's plans for military operations in Lebanon, while Washington was simultaneously pursuing a peace agreement with Iran.
The relationship between Trump and Netanyahu remains strong and established, though it currently faces a critical juncture.
