Former US President Donald Trump characterized his recent meetings in Washington with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky as "positive."

Trump noted that he discussed several important matters with both leaders but did not disclose specific details of the conversations.

In separate posts on the platform Truth Social, Trump described his encounter with Netanyahu as "very good," adding, "Obviously, we discussed many important topics."

Netanyahu and Zelensky were in Washington to attend the memorial service for the late Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican who passed away earlier this month and was known for supporting Israel and Ukraine.

Prior to the meeting, Trump expressed frustration with Netanyahu, complaining about the leak of discussion points Netanyahu intended to raise publicly regarding Iran.

Trump also met with Zelensky, where they talked about plans to produce Patriot missiles and reviving peace talks with Russia, according to Reuters. On Truth Social, Trump wrote, "Many things were discussed. The meeting with Zelensky went well."
