Trump Declares End of War with Iran Through 'Great Deal'
President Trump announced that the United States has ended its war with Iran by reaching a "great deal," including Iran's agreement to never acquire nuclear weapons.

On Friday, President Donald Trump declared that the United States has ended its war with Iran by securing what he described as a "great deal." He emphasized that Iran has agreed never to possess nuclear weapons.
Trump made this announcement during an online rally supporting Burt Jones, the lieutenant governor of Georgia who is running for governor of the state.
At the same time, informed Iranian sources told Tasnim news agency that Iran rejected the amendments Trump made to the Iranian proposal, which consisted of 14 points.
These sources stated that the latest development was the failure of U.S. military and diplomatic pressures to impose changes on the 14-point text.
Trump said, "I don't know if you have heard, but we ended the war with Iran. They agreed not to have nuclear weapons, which was our main objective; that was 95% of the agreement."
He added, "They will not have nuclear weapons. They agreed to that... They will not only refrain from possessing nuclear weapons, but also from buying or developing them in any form."
Earlier on Thursday, the U.S. president had indicated that the announcement of the agreement with Iran was imminent and that the official signing could take place within the current week.
The negotiations have focused on three main issues, with last-minute talks narrowing the differences between Iran and the United States.
