President Donald Trump announced a delay to a scheduled military attack on Iran set for Tuesday, while negotiations continue. He warned that the U.S. remains ready to launch a comprehensive strike if no acceptable deal is reached.

President Donald Trump declared on Monday that he has postponed a military operation against Iran that was originally planned for Tuesday. This decision comes amid ongoing efforts to negotiate an agreement with Tehran.
In a social media statement, Trump emphasized that the United States is prepared to resume the attack if talks fail to produce a satisfactory deal. He instructed the military to remain ready to execute a broad and extensive strike against Iran at any moment should negotiations collapse.
Earlier on Monday, Trump made clear that he is unwilling to make concessions to Iran following the country's latest response. He asserted that Iran is aware of the consequences it faces if it does not finalize a deal.
“I can tell you they want to make a deal more than ever because they know what will happen soon,” Trump said during a phone interview with the New York Post.
Reports indicate that after a brief visit to China, Trump spent the weekend at his golf club in Virginia meeting with his national security team. The discussions focused on planning the next steps regarding the situation with Iran.
