Trump: War with Iran "Will End Soon"
US President Donald Trump stated that the war with Iran will end soon, emphasizing the need to ensure Tehran never possesses nuclear weapons.

US President Donald Trump said that the war with Iran "will end soon," while pointing out the need to ensure that there will never be a nuclear weapon in Tehran.
Trump clarified in an interview with KCMO radio station in Kansas City, "This file will be closed soon. We need a guarantee that there will never be a nuclear weapon."
Trump urged Iran to conclude an agreement, stressing that his country will not strike Tehran before the midterm elections scheduled for next week.
During the interview, Trump also repeated that the war with Iran "will end soon," but did not clarify how this would happen. He added that "the situation regarding Tehran will change very soon."
Trump's statements coincide with the arrival of a Qatari delegation in Tehran today, Friday, to hold talks with Iranian officials, at a time when mediators are seeking to revive peace negotiations with the United States.
The official Iranian News Agency (IRNA) reported that the Qatari delegation, headed by the Prime Minister's Chief Advisor and the Qatari Foreign Minister, arrived in Tehran to meet senior Iranian officials.
The visit comes a day after information published by Iranian media stating that Tehran received a message from US Vice President JD Vance, addressed to the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Mohsen Rezaei.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the message discussed a potential framework for negotiations, rather than specific conditions for reaching a peace agreement. It was sent through Qatari intermediaries.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Wednesday that Tehran is discussing with the two mediators a plan to end the war and reopen the strait.
In parallel, the United States continues its blockade on Iranian ports, further restricting Tehran's ability to export oil and conduct trade.
