Trump: We Will Resume Strikes on Iran 'If We Don't Get 100% of What We Want'

US President Donald Trump said the United States will resume war against Iran if it does not get "everything it wants," according to his expression.

Trump's remark came in response to a question from a correspondent of the French channel LCI about whether he is considering resuming large-scale military operations against Iran.

Trump replied to the question: "If we don't get 100% of what we want, this will certainly happen."

The US president did not clarify what demands the United States is currently presenting to Iran.

Earlier, Axios reported, citing its sources, that US military personnel continue to prepare plans for large-scale combat operations against Iran, but Trump has not yet given any orders regarding the resumption of such actions.

A source close to the White House revealed that the halt in US strikes on Iran does not reflect a shift in US strategy or the end of military operations, but rather represents a "calculated tactical pause" made to make room for diplomatic efforts and test opportunities for de-escalation.

The source told Erem News that the US administration is using this period to assess Tehran's response to messages conveyed by regional and international mediators, foremost among them ensuring the security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and reducing regional tension, before deciding on the next phase of operations.

This comes after Iranian airspace witnessed, for the first time in about two weeks, a halt to US strikes carried out by the US Central Command (CENTCOM), in a development that raised questions about whether Washington is moving toward a diplomatic path, or whether it is merely an operational break before a new round of escalation.
