US Central Command says 15 commercial vessels carrying humanitarian aid have been allowed to pass since the naval blockade of Iranian ports began.

Fifteen commercial vessels described as supporting humanitarian aid have been permitted to transit since the US Navy imposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports one month ago, US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated in a social media post on Wednesday.
Captain Tim Hawkins, a CENTCOM spokesperson, clarified that the ships include both those that docked at Iranian ports and those that departed those ports for open waters.
The same post noted that US forces had diverted 67 commercial ships and disrupted four others to enforce compliance with the restrictions.
This announcement follows a previous US military statement that two vessels attempting to breach the blockade in the Gulf of Oman had been neutralized.
