US Envoy Whitaker Updates Egyptian FM on Switzerland Talks

This exchange occurred within the framework of ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two sides.
During the call, Abdel Ati reiterated Egypt's support for the negotiation process following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran. He expressed hope that this memorandum would serve as a starting point to strengthen regional security and stability and open avenues for addressing various issues through dialogue and diplomatic means.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry added that the call concluded with an agreement to continue cooperation and coordination between the parties to contribute to supporting security and stability in the region.
