SpaceX Super Intelligence consolidates its AI and social media services into one unified plan to compete with OpenAI and Anthropic.

SpaceX Super Intelligence has consolidated its various service offerings into a single subscription model named “The X Subscription.” This move combines access to X Premium, the Grok AI assistant, and the Cursor coding tool under one umbrella. The company aims to leverage this bundled approach to gain market share in the competitive paid AI sector, where it contends with rivals such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
The unified plan grants users comprehensive access to multiple digital tools. Subscribers can utilize Grok for AI-driven conversations, which supports voice, image, video, and API interactions. Additionally, the package includes Grok’s agentic AI Bot and Cursor for AI-assisted coding. Standard X Premium benefits are also integrated, providing the blue verified checkmark, enhanced creator tools, and a reduction in advertisements.
Five distinct plans structure the new offering: free, Plus at $8 per month, Premium at $30 per month, Super at $100 per month, and Ultra at $200 per month. Artificial intelligence usage limits rise progressively with each higher tier. The free option restricts chat and agent capabilities significantly. Access to the most recent Grok models requires a subscription level of Premium or above.
For current subscribers to X Premium+, the company noted that the equivalent plan within the new X Subscription costs the same amount or less. This pricing adjustment serves as an incentive for existing users to transition to the bundled service.
Users have two options regarding their accounts. They may switch from their current subscriptions via settings on X to upgrade to the new bundle, or they can choose to maintain their existing plans. The upgrade pathway is being deployed gradually. Customers interested in moving to the new system should monitor their billing settings closely for the availability of the offer.
