Inside Bayern Munich, there is a strong sense of confidence regarding their ability to finalize the signing of Manchester United's striker Marcus Rashford during the current summer transfer window.

According to sources obtained by the global network "Team Talk," the Bavarian club has held positive discussions with the 28-year-old player's representatives and is preparing to submit an initial offer close to €25 million (£21.5 million) to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new Bundesliga season.

The move follows Rashford's successful loan spell at Barcelona last season, where he contributed to 28 goals—scoring 14 and assisting 14—helping the team secure both the La Liga title and the Spanish Super Cup.

Despite Barcelona's desire to retain him, the club chose not to activate the €30 million permanent purchase clause, which expired on June 15, preferring instead to pursue another one-year loan arrangement.

On the other hand, "Team Talk" reports that Manchester United's management remains firm, completely rejecting the idea of another loan. They have informed Bayern Munich of their insistence on receiving the full €30 million transfer fee to release the player permanently, aiming to generate the financial resources needed for the club's rebuilding plans.

Bayern Munich's Pursuit of Morgan Rogers

Bayern Munich has also intensified its efforts to sign the promising English midfielder Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa. The 23-year-old has impressed with his performances this season, attracting strong interest from the German club.

Obstacles to Completing the Rashford Transfer

Although there is preliminary agreement between the two clubs to finalize the Rashford deal, "Team Talk" highlights two main obstacles that require Rashford's own consent and concessions before signing.

The first challenge concerns wages. Rashford currently earns a substantial salary, and adjustments will be necessary to align with Bayern Munich's strict wage structure.

The second issue involves the player's acceptance of uncertain starting opportunities. Rashford would face intense competition for the left-wing position from established Bayern stars such as Luis Díaz, Michaël Cuisance, and Jamal Musiala.

Rashford's Contract and Potential Alternatives

Rashford remains under contract with Manchester United for two more years, and his departure would allow the club to reduce its significant wage bill.

Should negotiations with Bayern Munich falter—despite the German club's strong push to secure Rashford as a replacement for unsuccessful targets like Anthony Gordon—sources from "Team Talk" indicate that Rashford might stay in the Premier League, where both Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly monitoring his situation with serious interest.
