Bellingham's Girlfriend's Family Dispute Emerges Before 2026 World Cup
England's Jude Bellingham faces a family dispute involving his girlfriend Ashlyn Rene Castro and her mother, who is living in a Los Angeles homeless shelter.

Jude Bellingham, the England national team player, has become involved in a family dispute after it emerged that the mother of his American girlfriend is residing in a homeless shelter in Los Angeles.
As the 22-year-old prepares for England’s opening match of the 2026 World Cup against Croatia, his girlfriend Ashlyn Rene Castro, an influencer, is engaged in a social media conflict with her mother, Tina Marie Young, a former model.
Young, aged 61, posted on TikTok addressing her daughter, accusing her of disobedience and lying, stating, "Who is Jude Bellingham? You disobeyed your mother, lied to her, and left her in shelters."
In a message directed at the Real Madrid playmaker, she added: "Come on, Jude Bellingham, who are you with my beautiful daughter who left her mother in shelters lying to her? Who are you? Are you lying too?"
Young complained about her living conditions while her daughter travels the world, saying, "I am under attack, there are bedbugs and cockroaches. People say they feel safer on the street—and that is true."
Castro, 28, claimed that her mother suffers from schizophrenia and "has stopped taking her medication for over 10 years."
Young responded from one of the Los Angeles shelters, expressing sadness about having a family and accusing her daughter of continuous lying.
She also made a veiled criticism of Castro’s heavy makeup and filtered social media videos, stating, "I am not trying to be someone I am not. This is me, the real me, without makeup, and as I am."
Bellingham and Castro have been in a relationship since January of the previous year. Castro has over 646,000 followers on Instagram and 245,000 on TikTok, where she shares her global travels.
She frequently attends Real Madrid matches to watch Bellingham play and owns a home in Los Angeles.
Castro is often seen in the Santiago Bernabéu stands alongside Bellingham’s mother.
The young star, who played his first World Cup match in Qatar 2022, referred to Castro as his "love."
Castro described Bellingham as "the most considerate, kind-hearted, hardworking, and wonderful person I have ever known."
However, Castro’s mother holds a less favorable view of Bellingham’s girlfriend, complaining that her daughter has cut off contact with her and posting on Instagram, "No contact or anything!"
Castro rarely discusses her personal life publicly but was compelled last year to post a lengthy video addressing widespread rumors.
Despite rumors linking her to various celebrities, including Oscar-winning actor Michael B. Jordan, she insisted she has had only three friends over the past eight years.
She also denied that explicit photos posted under her name on an adult website were hers.
Castro revealed she is working on establishing a nonprofit organization to assist people suffering from mental illnesses.
Her mother claims to have been reborn after a destructive divorce and homelessness.
She described Castro’s late father, who managed medical resorts and a car detailing service in California, as "a socially impaired narcissist."
In another post, Young prayed for her daughter Ashlyn to "wake up and tell the truth about me," adding, "They tried to silence me, lock me in hospitals, and inject me with medicines claiming I was crazy. But guess what? God saved me, didn’t He? And here I am telling the truth."
Young also insisted she was a good mother, stating, "Maybe in time Ashlyn will realize that I was there and that I cared for her."
