Five players from Paris Saint-Germain made history by winning the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their careers, following PSG's victory over Arsenal in the current season's final decided by penalties.
The quintet of Zabarani, Drou, Chevalier, Marin, and Quentin each earned their first Champions League title this season. In contrast, Ashraf Hakimi and Lucas Hernandez secured their third title, having previously won with Real Madrid and PSG, respectively. Additionally, Spanish head coach Luis Enrique added to his tally, having won the competition before with Barcelona and PSG.
Paris Saint-Germain claimed the Champions League trophy for the second consecutive season after defeating Arsenal 5-4 on penalties. The match ended 1-1 after regular and extra time. The final took place at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, as part of the 2025-2026 Champions League season.

Arsenal took an early lead with Kai Havertz scoring in the 6th minute. PSG equalized in the 66th minute through a penalty converted by Ousmane Dembélé. With the score tied, the contest proceeded to a penalty shootout where PSG successfully converted four penalties compared to Arsenal's three, securing the 5-4 victory and the Champions League title.
