Inter Milan dominate Serie A awards
Inter Milan swept the top individual honours in Serie A for the 2025-2026 season, with Cristian Chivu, Federico Dimarco and Lautaro Martinez among the winners.
The Italian league announced the winners of its 2025-2026 season awards on Friday, before the Serie A campaign is officially brought to a close on Sunday.
Inter Milan won the league title for the 21st time in its history this season. The race for Champions League places remains open, along with the relegation battle.
According to the official account of the Italian league, Romanian Cristian Chivu, Inter's coach, was named coach of the season after guiding the Nerazzurri to the Serie A title. Italian Federico Dimarco, an Inter player, took the season's best player award after his strong performances for the club.
Turkish winger Kenan Yildiz of Juventus won the award for best young player in the league. In the other individual prizes, Argentine Lautaro Martinez was named best striker, while his compatriot Nico Paz of Como received the best midfielder award.
The best defender award went to Italian Marco Balestra, a Cagliari player, and Belgian goalkeeper Mile Svilar of Roma was named the season's best goalkeeper.
