Kenny Dalglish Reveals Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish announced on social media that he is currently undergoing cancer treatment and requested privacy for his family.

Kenny Dalglish, the Liverpool football legend, disclosed on Tuesday that he is receiving treatment for cancer.
The 75-year-old Scot, who won over 30 titles with Liverpool as both a player and manager, shared the diagnosis on social media platforms.
Dalglish wrote on Instagram: "As my unintended social media post indicated, I am currently undergoing cancer treatment. Despite my poor handling of my mobile phone (which inadvertently revealed this news), the treatment program is progressing well."
He added, "This was supposed to remain private because that is how it should be, but my technical skills are somewhat lacking, and I accidentally disclosed it."
Dalglish continued, "Obviously, I did not intend to announce this publicly, so I would appreciate it if my family's and my privacy are respected."
During his 13 seasons as a Liverpool player, Dalglish scored 172 goals and won six league titles and three European Cups, contributing to the club's period of glory based in Merseyside.
He also managed Liverpool in the 1980s, leading the team to three league championships and two FA Cup victories.
Dalglish ranks eighth on Liverpool’s all-time top scorers list with 172 goals but remains immensely popular for his managerial achievements, including securing the English league title three times in 1986, 1988, and 1990.
