Salim meets with Saadi and World Bank official to continue electricity reform

Prime Minister Nouf Salim met with Energy and Water Minister Jou Saadi and Enrique Blanco Armas, World Bank Representative in Lebanon, to discuss progress on electricity sector reforms and the timeline for launching a public-private partnership to build a new power plant in Deir Ammar.

They also discussed President Salim's upcoming visit to Washington and scheduled meetings with the World Bank to follow up on the energy sector reform agenda and mobilize international support for priority infrastructure investments.
