The Spanish top flight's governing body has announced its official Team of the Season for the 2024-2025 campaign, selecting a lineup of the most outstanding performers from the recently concluded La Liga season.
French superstar Kylian Mbappé earned his place in the forward line following a prolific goalscoring campaign, while teenage Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal was also recognized for his consistently brilliant displays despite his youth. Real Madrid's Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni secured spots in the midfield, joined by Barcelona's Pedri for his influential role in the center of the pitch. The defensive selections included Marcos Llorente and Eric García.

Barça players have been celebrating the championship with an open-top bus parade through the streets of Barcelona, marking their second consecutive league title under German head coach Hansi Flick. The team currently tops the La Liga standings with 91 points, holding a 14-point lead over second-placed Real Madrid (77 points). Alavés sit in 18th place with 37 points.
