Bayern Munich supervisory board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge expressed strong confidence that Michael Olise and Harry Kane will remain with the club long-term.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has voiced high certainty regarding the continued presence of Michael Olise and Harry Kane at Bayern Munich. The supervisory board member stated that both players intend to remain with the Bavarian side for an extended period.
In remarks conveyed to Ran SPORT through Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Rummenigge addressed speculation linking Olise to Real Madrid. He emphasized his optimism about contract extensions, specifically hoping for Kane’s renewal soon and anticipating a similar move for Olise.
“I hope, and I’m also very confident, that Harry will extend his contract soon. And that Michael will be next,” Rummenigge said. He added that he would like to see Olise stay at Bayern for many more years.
These comments signal the club’s firm intention to retain its key attackers, despite Olise not yet having agreed to new terms. The 24-year-old remains central to Bayern’s strategic planning as the German giants seek to protect one of their most valuable offensive assets from external interest.
Real Madrid have maintained a long-standing admiration for the French winger, having linked him with a transfer last summer. However, Los Blancos ultimately pursued RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande after it became clear that Bayern had no plans to sell Olise.
Olise appears content remaining in Munich, though Real Madrid represent the sole entity potentially capable of altering his decision. Reports suggest the Frenchman might consider extending his Bundesliga contract unless Madrid initiate a concrete approach.
This situation presents Real Madrid with a familiar challenge: they must act decisively to demonstrate serious interest or risk losing another target who becomes increasingly difficult to acquire. Bayern’s determination to secure Olise’s future limits the time available for Madrid to make a definitive choice.
A critical question remains whether Madrid need to prioritize Olise given their existing squad composition. Manager Mourinho already possesses several attacking options, including Vinicius Junior, Arda Guler, and summer signing Diomande.
Integrating another costly winger would necessitate careful evaluation of playing time allocation and tactical equilibrium. While Olise’s creativity, close control, and chance-creation abilities from the right flank offer distinct advantages, acquiring him would constitute an extremely complex operation for the Spanish club if they choose this path.
