18-Truck Aid Convoy for Displaced Arrives at Masnaa Border
An 18-truck aid convoy carrying relief and medical supplies arrived at the Masnaa border crossing, organized by Jordan and Spain.

An 18-truck convoy loaded with relief and medical supplies has arrived at the Masnaa border crossing, part of a humanitarian corridor launched by Jordan's King Abdullah II to provide emergency support to Lebanon's affected population. The convoy was received by Jordanian Ambassador Walid Abdul Rahman Al-Hadid, Spanish Ambassador Miguel de Lucas, Brigadier General Bassam Al-Naboulsi (Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Commission) with a delegation from the commission, representatives from international organizations, and heads of security agencies.
Ambassador Al-Hadid stated: "We are honored today to receive the second international convoy organized by Jordan in cooperation with a number of sisterly and friendly countries, including the Kingdom of Spain and Oxfam. This is the third convoy within the international humanitarian air bridge, and the fourth since the outbreak of the war. It consists of 18 trucks loaded with relief materials and medical supplies."
Ambassador De Lucas explained that the humanitarian initiative involving Spain includes approximately 2,250 boxes of cooking utensils, designated for around 11,250 displaced individuals. The aim is to secure the minimum basic needs for food preparation under difficult conditions.
Brigadier General Al-Naboulsi thanked King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people for the initiative, emphasizing that "Lebanon's true wealth lies in its friends and brothers who stand by it in the various crises it goes through." He also welcomed the Spanish ambassador, praising "the humanitarian support and cooperation provided to Lebanon," and expressed hope that "these initiatives would be reciprocated under better circumstances."
Al-Naboulsi noted that "the convoy will head to the Riyaq Air Base, where the aid will be sorted before being distributed by the Higher Relief Commission to displaced people across Lebanese territory."
