The Israeli army announced that "it attacked and destroyed over 40 Hezbollah infrastructures in several areas in southern Lebanon during the past 24 hours, and among the targeted objectives were: command centers where operatives from the party worked, and additional infrastructure."

Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya said: "The military headquarters and buildings that were attacked were used by Hezbollah operatives to advance plans against the Israeli army and Israel."
She added: "Also, yesterday evening (Thursday), a suspicious aerial target was detected, and it appears to have been intercepted in southern Lebanon. Alarms were activated according to policy."
She concluded: "The Israeli army will continue to operate against threats directed at the citizens of Israel and its forces, and operates according to the directives of the political level."
