2.7 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded in Akkar Region

The National Center for Geophysics, affiliated with the National Council for Scientific Research, announced that at 14:35 local time on the afternoon of Monday, June 15, 2026, an earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale was recorded.

The epicenter of the earthquake was identified in the Ammar Al-Bikat area within the Akkar region.
