An explosion on a Lebanese army vehicle in southern Lebanon injured five soldiers. The Israeli military confirmed the device was linked to Hezbollah, not Israel's defense forces.

Wrote the Israeli army spokesperson Ila Wawie on the platform "X": "Earlier today (Sunday), a vehicle belonging to the Lebanese army was hit by a bomb explosion in southern Lebanon, resulting in five Lebanese army soldiers being injured. After verification, contrary to circulating claims, it can be confirmed that the explosive device is not affiliated with the Israeli Defense Forces. According to information available to the Israeli Defense Forces, the device originated from the Hezbollah organization. The incident occurred in the area of Kfar'a, outside the security zone in southern Lebanon, a region where Israeli Defense Forces have never been present."
