Condemned the attack on the oil pipeline stretching from eastern to western Saudi Arabia, President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun stated that this heinous act constitutes a blatant assault on the vital capabilities of the sister kingdom and its national security, and a desperate attempt to undermine regional stability and threaten the interests of its peoples.

President Aoun affirmed that Lebanon stands alongside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its wise leadership, and its brotherly people, in confronting anything that threatens its security, stability, and safety of its critical infrastructure, reiterating full and steadfast solidarity with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and all measures taken by the kingdom to protect its sovereignty and capabilities.

President Aoun emphasized that the historical and deep-rooted fraternal ties between Lebanon and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia demand standing united against any attempts to destabilize regional security, calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities in countering such attacks that threaten global energy security and the stability of the entire region.
