Aoun Receives National Curriculum and Stresses Importance of Education in Building the State
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received the national pre-university curriculum from the Educational Center for Research and Development, emphasizing that education is fundamental to building a strong state.

Republic President Joseph Aoun affirmed that "our battle to build the state also begins with school and educational awareness," stressing that "the Lebanon we aspire to build needs citizens who know their rights and duties, trust their state, and believe that their future is protected only through their unity, attachment to their homeland, and engagement in social service."
The President said, during his receipt of the national curriculum for general pre-university education from a delegation of the Educational Center for Research and Development, that "national education is not merely teaching about the country, but rather educating on living together, respecting the state, bearing responsibility, and preserving national unity."
He clarified that "new curricula must focus on the interest of the new generation, which should grow on national foundations, and realize that there is no difference among Lebanese people. Although the right to differ is sacred, partnership must be firm, as well as identity, knowledge, and single belonging to the homeland."
