Lebanese Army Commander Gen. Rudolph Hiakel received Italian Joint Operations Chief Gen. Giovanni Maria Iannucci at his office – Yarze, head of a delegation, in the presence of Italian Ambassador to Lebanon Fabrizio Marcelli.

The discussion covered general conditions and current developments, ways to support the army amid ongoing challenges, as well as available options for the post-UNIFIL phase.

Additionally, Deputy Shibli Maroun was received, and current developments were presented.
