Army Commander Gen. Rudolph Hikkel emphasized the military's unwavering commitment to defending every part of Lebanon during a live-fire training exercise in Biret, highlighting professionalism and national unity.

Army Commander Gen. Rudolph Hikkel attended a live-fire training exercise in Biret, conducted by the Fourth Land Border Battalion and other units of the Army Ground Forces, with participation from the Air Force.
He then visited the headquarters of the Fourth Land Border Battalion, where he inaugurated the operations room and inspected its modern equipment used for mission execution, particularly border surveillance and protection, as well as inaugurated a memorial monument dedicated to the battalion’s martyrs.
Gen. Hikkel praised the soldiers’ professionalism, stating: "I draw strength and determination from you, and I feel your deep faith and high morale. You give hope to every Lebanese and stand ready against anyone who attempts to harm our homeland." He stressed "the importance of continuous training and unit integration," noting that "the primary goal of leadership is to develop the institution’s capabilities through indigenous resources, and we are working to secure necessary support for the army through friendly and brotherly nations."
He addressed the army’s role serving the nation’s interest: "Through our efforts and sacrifices, we strive to preserve Lebanon’s security and internal stability." He told them: "Whoever does not resemble his army does not resemble his country."
He added: "We will not abandon our core missions in defending every inch of our land."
