Army Intelligence Frees Kidnapped Man in Amsheet and Arrests 19 Involved
Lebanese Army Intelligence rescued a kidnapped man in Amsheet, Jbeil, after intensive surveillance, and arrested seven suspects. Another operation in the Bcharre area led to the detention of 12 Syrians without legal documents.

Detachment from the Lebanese Army Intelligence Directorate successfully freed a kidnapped man in the town of Amsheet – Jbeil, following meticulous security monitoring and tracking operations, and arrested seven individuals involved in the abduction.
Subsequently, another detachment from the Directorate raided a residential complex in the Bcharre – Keserwan area, where it detained 12 Syrians, including three women, for traveling within Lebanese territory without legal documentation.
After preliminary investigations, according to the Army Command, the detained individuals form two gangs operating in human trafficking, with the women additionally implicated in immoral activities, and the kidnapping was carried out due to financial disputes among the traffickers.
The investigation into the detainees is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
