Lebanese politician Gebran Bassil announced he will challenge the general amnesty law, citing justice, respect for martyrs, and opposition to a grave injustice.
Wrote leader of the Free Patriotic Movement MP Gebran Bassil on the platform "X": "Now that the President of the Republic has signed the general amnesty law... we will challenge it, to protect justice, out of respect for the martyrs, in opposition to a crime... so that there remains in this country someone bold enough to say 'no,' preserving dignity, ensuring resilience, and paying tribute to the army."
