The General Directorate of Civil Defense recovered the body of a citizen from the sea off Amchit Beach, urging the public to follow safety guidelines amid high waves and strong currents.

Issued by the Media and Public Relations Department of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the following statement: "Marine rescue teams of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, at 3:15 this afternoon, and in the presence and support of the competent security agencies, managed to retrieve the body of a citizen from the sea off Amchit Beach, from a difficult marine area experiencing high waves and strong currents.
Civil Defense ambulance teams transported the body to one of the region's hospitals, based on the指示 of the competent Public Prosecution, to take the necessary legal procedures.
In this context, the General Directorate of Civil Defense renews its call to citizens to adhere to public safety guidelines while swimming and visiting beaches, especially in light of weather fluctuations, high waves, and increasing wind speed, with the need to avoid taking risks in dangerous or unsafe marine areas, and to immediately report any emergency by calling 125 or through the WhatsApp application at 70/192693".
