Government departments and official offices continue operating normally within Zahle's government buildings, amid complete calm surrounding the complex, following a lack of notable response to a call by several activists to protest outside the building over deteriorating living conditions, inflation, and rising prices.

The call aimed to organize a demonstration demanding improved living and economic conditions, yet the movement saw no significant gathering, as staff and visitors continued their routine activities.

Security forces remain deployed inside the complex, on standby for any emergencies, under instructions from Colonel Nadiem Abd al-Masih, regional commander of the Internal Security Forces in the Bekaa region.
