Signing of a Cooperation Protocol Between Zahle and Bekaa Chambers and Ras Al Khaimah

President of the Board of Directors of the Zahle and Bekaa Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, Minir al-Tini, and President of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UAE, Muhammad Mubarak al-Naemi, signed a cooperation and sisterhood protocol between the two chambers, using their initials, during the Lebanese-UAE Economic Forum organized by the Beirut and Mount Lebanon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with economic institutions.

The final signing will take place via video conference on September 21, 2026, with the attendance of members from both chamber boards.

Al-Tini explained that "the protocol will establish a path for economic cooperation based on connecting business communities in the Bekaa and Ras Al Khaimah, exchanging opportunities and expertise, and encouraging investments and partnerships in productive and technological sectors."

He emphasized the partnership principle embedded in this protocol, which enables combining logistics and technology, Emirati expertise, and Lebanese capabilities, while opening new horizons for the business communities in the Bekaa and Ras Al Khaimah, and strengthening economic ties between Lebanon and its Arab hinterland.
