The French Center in Lebanon renewed its summer academic support program in August 2026, benefiting 600 students from EB10 and EB11 across official francophone schools nationwide.

The French Center in Lebanon renewed, during August 2026, as part of its ongoing support for official francophone schools and in preparation for the new academic year, its summer program aimed at enhancing academic achievement, benefiting 600 students from EB10 and EB11 classes, distributed across various regions of Lebanon.
This program comes amid continued challenges facing Lebanon’s education system due to successive crises experienced by the country, aiming to reinforce foundational educational gains and assist students in resuming their studies under optimal conditions at the start of the academic year.
The program is implemented in eight official francophone schools classified within the "Centers of Excellence" network, spread across different regions of Lebanon. It provides students with free educational support designed to strengthen their knowledge and mitigate the effects of learning interruptions.
Students attend intensive sessions in French, mathematics, and Arabic language for four mornings each week, along with structured guidance to help them prepare for the upcoming academic year. By the end of this summer session, students have reinforced their core knowledge, developed their competencies, and gained greater confidence in their abilities.
The program was launched experimentally in 2024 on initiative from the French Center in Lebanon in partnership with CMA CGM Foundation, initially benefiting 500 students from private schools in Rmeich. Based on the positive results achieved, the program expanded in 2025 to include twelve official and private francophone schools, enabling support for over 700 students. The 2026 session marks the third summer edition of the program, this year specifically targeting official schools within the "Centers of Excellence" network.
The French Center in Lebanon designs and coordinates the program, which is implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, based on the commitment of participating schools’ educational bodies responsible for supervising implementation and monitoring student progress.
This new cycle reaffirms the French Center in Lebanon’s sustained commitment to supporting official francophone education in Lebanon. By leveraging the "Centers of Excellence" network, the program contributes to enhancing students’ chances of success and supports the development of reference educational institutions, thereby advancing the quality of official education and reinforcing the foundations of a sustainable, high-quality learning system.
