Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, the following statement:

In recent times, several theft operations occurred by breaking and entering in areas within Mount Lebanon Governorate by an unknown person, who would break into commercial shops after midnight and steal whatever was available inside, the latest of which was on 26-5-2026, when he entered a pharmacy in the Halat area and stole goods worth three thousand US dollars.

As a result, the specialized units of the Internal Security Forces began their field and intelligence procedures to uncover the perpetrator and arrest him. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Information Division was able to identify him, namely: M. H. (born in 1995, Lebanese), with a criminal record for theft crimes.

On 26-05-2026, after careful monitoring and surveillance, one of the division's patrols arrested him in Al-Bouar, and seized from his possession a military pistol, 2 screwdrivers, a coat, and gloves.

During interrogation, he confessed to what was attributed to him regarding his commission of more than 10 theft operations at night, by breaking and entering, from inside shops in several areas, including: Halat, Nahr Ibrahim, Ghazir, Kaslik, Zouk Mosbeh, and Adma, using the military pistol and the tools seized in his possession.

The legal procedure was carried out against him and he was handed over with the seized items to the relevant authority.

Therefore, and based on the指示 of the competent judiciary, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces circulates his picture, and requests those who fell victim to his acts to come to the Mount Lebanon Information Branch, or call the number 513732-01 in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.
