From Zahlah to Akkar to Baalbek: The Lebanese Army Seizes Weapons and Ammunition
The Lebanese Army carried out raids in Jlala-Zahlah, Shadra-Akkar, and Dours-Baalbek, seizing weapons, ammunition, and military equipment, and arresting suspects in connection with a shooting incident.

The Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement:
"An army unit carried out raid operations in the town of Jlala – Zahlah following a dispute that involved gunfire, which led to the injury of one citizen on 29 / 7 / 2026. It arrested the wanted person (N.Z.) and seized in his possession military weapons and ammunition, in addition to military equipment.
Another unit also arrested the citizen (A.A.) at the Shadra - Akkar checkpoint for possessing a military weapon and a quantity of ammunition.

Similarly, another unit arrested the citizen (A.A.) at the Dours – Baalbek checkpoint for opening fire.
The confiscated items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees began under the supervision of the competent judiciary, while follow-up continues to arrest the rest of those involved in the dispute."
