Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar received at his ministry office this morning a delegation comprising the President of the Oil Importing Companies Association Maroun Chammas, the President of the Land Transport Federations and Unions Bassam Tlais, the Director of Coral and Liquigaz companies Antonio Yammine, the Fuel Distributors Syndicate President Fadi Abu Shakra, and the Tanker Owners Syndicate President Ibrahim Sarini, in a meeting dedicated to discussing the sector's situation.
During the meeting, the delegation presented the key demands related to organizing the work of the fuel distribution sector, particularly with regard to truck traffic. Minister Hajjar affirmed his follow-up on this file, promising to address the matter in a way that facilitates transport and distribution operations, while taking into account the preservation of public safety and ensuring smooth traffic flow on roads.
