Israel says it struck over 65 Hezbollah targets in south Lebanon in 24 hours
The Israeli military announced it attacked more than 65 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in southern Lebanon from air and ground over the past day.
More than 65 infrastructure sites belonging to Hezbollah were struck by Israeli forces from both air and ground across multiple areas of southern Lebanon within the last 24 hours, according to a statement from the Israeli military. The army said it is continuing operations to "eliminate threats" to Israeli citizens and its own troops in the region.
Among the targeted infrastructure were weapons depots, observation posts, command headquarters, and additional facilities that the military said were used by Hezbollah operatives to advance "terrorist schemes" against Israeli forces and the state of Israel.
The military added that more than 20 members of the organization were also killed across southern Lebanon during the same period.
